Even Flow - Biography of a Progressive Metal Band

Even Flow is a progressive metal band from Sardinia, founded in the late 1990s by brothers Pietro Paolo Lunesu (guitar/composition) and Giorgio Lunesu (drums).

In 2008, the band released their debut EP, Dream Weaver, which continues to garner universal acclaim from fans and critics alike. Since then, they have toured relentlessly, notably performing a sold-out show in their hometown of Sassari as special guests for Blaze Bayley (former Iron Maiden vocalist). To close out 2015, the band supported Orphaned Land on a European tour featuring seven sold-out concerts.

In 2016, Even Flow entered the studio to record Life Has Just Begun under the supervision of Greek producer Bob Katsionis (ex-Firewind). This album marked a turning point for the band with the arrival of vocalist Marco Pastorino, whose voice brought new life and energy to their sound.

In 2018, the band released the acoustic EP Mother, recorded in Rome by Paolo Campitelli. In support of this release, they performed at Rock The Castle in Italy before embarking on a UK tour. In 2022, Even Flow released the EP Mediterraneo, which was promoted at prestigious festivals such as Rock Castle and Masters of Rock in the Czech Republic.

In 2024, the band signed with the German label Lucky Bob Records for the album Rinascimento. Joined by Emma Elvaston for live performances, Even Flow supported the legendary band Victory across Germany and is set to perform at Vagos Metal Fest in Portugal in 2025. Driven by this strong new line-up, the band is currently writing a new album slated for release in 2027.
